XpertHost has been appointed by a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in London to recruit a talented Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive excellence across five outlets.
About The Role
• Leadership: Act as a trusted leader, deputizing for the Director of Food and Beverage when required and inspiring a diverse team to excel.
• Operational Expertise: Manage restaurant and banqueting operations, covering kitchen, reservations, outlets, service, and marketing.
• Project Management: Ensure timely delivery of key projects within the department.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance department performance and guest satisfaction.
• Creative Vision: Bring innovative ideas to elevate the guest experience across all outlets.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams (HR, culinary, engineering) and external partners.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a clear grasp of operational details, including covers and service requirements, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
The Perfect Candidate
• Proven experience in a senior Food and Beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong project management and strategic planning skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of restaurant, banqueting, and bar operations.
• Exceptional creativity and a passion for guest service innovation.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership abilities.
• Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills.
