Director of Finance

About The Role
As Director of Finance, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for ensuring financial excellence, maximizing profitability, and maintaining compliance with industry and corporate standards.
• Lead the financial strategy and drive overall business performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international financial regulations.
• Optimize financial controls, cash flow, and cost efficiencies.
• Partner with executive leadership to influence strategic decisions.
• Support and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Work closely with ownership representatives and external partners.
• Oversee financial audits, risk management, and reporting processes.
The Perfect Candidate
• Experience as a Financial Controller or Assistant Director of Finance within a luxury hotel or hospitality group. Director of Finance preferred.
• Education: BA/BSc in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA/ACA/ACCA or MBA (Financial) preferred.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, local regulations, and taxation. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and mentor finance teams.
• Strategic Thinking: A results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive financial performance and business growth.
• Language: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Work Permit: Must be an EU citizen (visa sponsorship is not available).
