About The Role
As the House Manager, you will oversee the entire estate's operations, ensuring the seamless management of both the property and the staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing all estate staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a cohesive and efficient team.
• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the estate, including buildings, grounds, and all facilities.
• Managing the estate’s budget, expenses, and financial planning to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Coordinating and supervising all estate activities, from everyday tasks to special events and functions.
• Serving as the primary liaison between the estate and external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Developing and implementing estate policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
The Perfect Candidate
• Extensive experience in estate management or a similar role within a high-end private residence or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the dynamic needs of the estate.
• In-depth knowledge of property maintenance, staff management, and event planning.
